Why I Started Bald Bois

Let's rip the Band-Aid off: I went bald. Slowly, quietly, and directly into a full-blown identity crisis that nobody around me even noticed — because I'd been wearing hats since I was seven, so visually, nothing changed. Underneath the cap, though? Absolute chaos. Very private, very personal chaos.

Then one day I looked in the mirror and thought: wait. This is just... me. Turns out what makes you human isn't hair — it's you. Also turns out, deeply important scientific fact: bald is objectively better looking. I don't make the rules. Ask literally anyone. Every guy on the fence about shaving his head has a group chat full of friends quietly begging him to just do it already. You know who you are. Do it. Today. Stop reading this and go.

Here's the actual problem I ran into: nobody made anything for us. I'd wander the shaving aisle at the grocery store like a man hunting for a snack that got discontinued in 2004 — squinting at razors clearly built for a chin, not a whole skull. Ordering random creams online and just... hoping. There was no "bald guy starter kit." There should have been. There wasn't.

Problem two: there was no community. I'd spot a fellow bald guy on the street — we'd do the nod — and that was it. No club. No secret handshake. Just two men silently agreeing our heads look great, then never speaking again. I wanted more than a nod. I wanted a whole club that shows up for each other and mails each other stuff.

So I built Bald Bois — a place for every bald man, and every man about to be one (yes, you, standing in the bathroom right now tilting your head under the light for the fourth time this week), to feel like he's not doing this alone. To embrace the shine. To finally say it out loud, to your friends, your barber, your own reflection: it's time.

First thing we built: the Bald Box. Once a month, straight to your door — premium razors, shave creams, balms, stickers, ridiculous merch, and whatever else a bald man actually needs (turns out, a lot, once someone finally asks). We are a community, and we are strong. Now go shave your head.
